The canteen building was redesigned three years ago and it is a wonderful facility for the school community. As a DEIS school, Scoil Muire agus Padraig participates in the School Meals Scheme which is provided by the Department of Social Protection. Students receive free food each day which is prepared on site by Andrea and Louise who are employed by a company called Fresh Today. This is a wonderful service in the school.
