At Scoil Muire agus Padraig, our school choir is a cherished part of our school community. Open to students of all ages, the choir provides a wonderful opportunity to develop musical talents, build confidence, and form lasting friendships. Under the guidance of our music teacher, Ms Teresa Costello, our choir regularly performs at school events, local and community gatherings, showcasing the incredible talent and spirit of our students.
The members of the school choir have enhanced school life through their music making at school events such as Opening School Mass, Carol Services, Seachtain na Gaeilge, School Concerts, Musicals, Leaving Cert Graduation Mass, 1916 Commemoration, the Daycare Centre at Swinford District Hospital for Christmas Mass and Carols, Swinford Active Retirement Group Christmas gatherings.
