LGFA is a vibrant and valued part of our school’s sporting life, with teams ranging from U14 right up to Senior level. Ms Lisa McManamon, Ms Clare Morrin and Mr. Garry Carey work with the teams.
Girls of all ages and abilities are encouraged to get involved, whether they’re new to the game or experienced players. Participation in LGFA helps students build fitness, improve skills, and develop important qualities like teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Many students enjoy the fast pace and excitement of Gaelic football, as well as the sense of pride that comes with representing their school. The strong bonds formed between teammates create a supportive and inclusive environment, where players are motivated to grow both on and off the pitch.
With committed coaching staff and a calendar of competitive fixtures, LGFA at our school offers students the chance to challenge themselves, achieve their goals, and be part of something special.
